A Viberatto
a viberatto

about ::

Acoustic-oriented, instrumental music, featuring vibraphone, cello, glockenspiel, accordion, piano, synthesizer, bass, guitar and more.

A Viberatto was formed in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Goodman as a group to bring to life simple acoustic musical pieces in a cinematic type style. In 2012, the band has now expanded to include Kol Marshall & Guthrie Lord.

Additional players include musical giants Tony Levin, Garth Hudson and Jane Scarpantoni.

A Viberatto is primarily interested in simplicity, beauty, real instruments, chamber music and setting moods.

A Viberatto is music that many find hard to classify. We call it "Acoustic Chamber Rock"; however it is not always just acoustic, not chamber like classical and not really rock. You have to listen yourself, we figure.

2012 CD: "B" - released on November 21, 2012.

2010 debut CD: "A" has been influenced by music from Iceland, Americana Folk Music, Classical Music and Nature. The album release date was June 21, 2010 - the first day of summer.
